Arkady Vasilievich Soroka

A recognized artist of the Ukraine.  He was born on July 25, 1921 in Vinnitsa, Ukraine.  

Since 1946 Soroka has been living in Vinnitsa.  In 1952-1953 he was working under the supervision of Radomann on the design of the Soviet-Chinese exhibit at the VDNKA exhibition.  Since 1959 he has been a regular participant in the republican exhibitions.  Throughout these years he has created over a thousand works:  genre-pieces, portraits, landscapes and still life paintings.  

Soroka's works are on display in the museums of Kiyv, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Ternopol, Zaporazhie, Vinnitsa.  They are also part of the private collections in the USA, Austria, Germany, and Israel.
